I have a capped tooth. Which was in 25 years. Since coming to this practice after it fell out to get it mended. The dentist glues it back in. Every 6 months it comes out now. I ask for it to be mended properly only to be told give glue another chance which doesn't work. I'm now changing to a dentist who will actually do the work properly instead of short cuts

DO NOT use this dentist if it is within your means to find another option. I have been a patient here for around 3 years, the last two routine (10 monthly) check-ups have been cancelled by the surgery, sometimes with less than 48hrs notice and I have had to contact them to re-book. One of my appointments was cancelled 3 times by the surgery before the appointment actually stuck!

Today's experience was a routine check-up booked during my lunch hour. I turned up on time, paid, and then waited for 30 minutes before asking the receptionist what was happening. She said only that the dentist was busy, and did not inform me about the long delay due to multiple emergency appointments that had happened in the morning (I only overheard this as another disgruntled patient asked her the same question 5mins after I did). Total delay to my appointment was 45 minutes.

Not only did I waste my entire lunch break waiting for this appointment, I ultimately had to re-schedule (a whole month away) because I was due back at work for a meeting. Bear in mind I have already paid for today's appointment which didn't happen! The receptionists should inform all patients of any long delays on entry to the dentist, to allow those of us with time constraints to reschedule without delay, and for everyone else to be given an expectation of when they will be seen.

I had an appointment today and on arrival I explained to the 2 young girls on reception how nervous I was feeling. They both happily talked me through what I should expect in terms of the treatment which was very good of them and helped me to relax a little before I was called in. Before the dentist started my treatment she explained what would happen, which again helped me to relax a little more. After the treatment was over I really don’t know what I was so worried about as the whole experience was as they explained from start to finish.
I would recommend anyone who is nervous about visiting the dentist to try this dental practice as they really do care for you.

Always greeted with a smile by the staff, and I believe it to be much more organised now. It’s easier and quicker to get appointments and the staff seem a lot less stressed now. Would recommend!

Fab dentist practise. Staff are always happy and pleasant, and clearly whatever new systems have been put into place are working. Much more efficient and thorough service when booking appointments, and always greeted with a smile.
